Dr. David Skover, Seattle University professor of constitutional law, will moderate a discussion with Supreme Court Justice Richard Sanders and retired Justice Phil Talmadge on Weds., Feb. 4 at the University of Puget Sound.
Topics will include:
— How much personal freedom are we willing to sacrifice for increased security?
— How has the governments response to 9/11 shaped and changed our lives?
— Is there a new normal with less freedom for some?
— Has the government moved away from the rule of law?
The event will be hosted by City Club Tacoma at the University of Puget Sound’s Wheelock Student Center at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $23 for members, $30 for guests (includes dinner).
