Members of City Council are scheduled Sept. 11 to consider a resolution that would authorize the execution of the second amended option and development agreement with the LeMay Museum. The amendments include removing obligations to construct parking and infrastructure improvements prior to construction of the museum; retaining the City title to the property along the perimeter of Tacoma Dome Lots B and C for a 30-foot wide access road; allowing construction of a first-phase facility with a minimum cost of $25 million; and allowing the use of the LeMay Museum grounds for City-sponsored events.
