Just a reminder: The Foss Waterway is ready for a new development phase, as the Request for Qualifications for the old Municipal Dock property was released late last month by the Foss Waterway Development Authority (FWDA).
The for-lease property is located on the waterway just north of the 11th Street bridge at 1025 E. Dock Street. The site has approximately 39,375 square feet of buildable footprint, while the overall site totals approximately 52,750 square feet.
Release of the Municipal Dock site RFQ signals the next exciting step in development growth along the Foss Waterway. Three developers are being considered for sites 4 and 5, adjacent to the Museum of Glass. Tenants are moving in at Theas Landing, where apartments and condominiums offer spectacular views of the waterway, Mount Rainier and downtown Tacoma.
