Tickets are available for the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County’s 2016 Annual Meeting in downtown Tacoma.

The event will feature keynote speaker Dr. Ali Modarres, Urban Studies Director at University of Washington Tacoma, who will share his thoughts on the South Sound’s economy in terms of how it stacks up against the rest of the Puget Sound region and other economies across the country; changes to the local economy following the end of the Great Recession; talent and real estate; and exciting new research.

Also on the agenda: business retention and recruitment results, as well as the unveiling of this year’s Excellent 10 List and Golden Shovel Award recipient.
