Puyallup Fair still looking to hire workers

Positions are still available to work at this year’s Puyallup Fair, Sept. 10-26. Apply in person now at the Job Service Center between 8 -11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Hiring will continue through the end of the Fair, interviewing Monday-Friday.

Come prepared, as the Washington State Employment Office will interview and hire on the spot. Picture identification and proof of legal right to work, such as a social security card or alien registration card are required.

A variety of positions are still available, including restaurant workers, barn workers, retail sales, rides, game booth operators and more. Most jobs will pay minimum wage ($7.16/hour). All applicants must be at least 16 years old.
The Job Service Center is located on the west side of the Fairgrounds near the Orange Gate (by the Roller Coaster) on Fifth Street.

The Puyallup Fair first started in 1900. This Pacific Northwest tradition features top name entertainment, the PRCA Rodeo, rides, exhibits, food, flowers, and animals. For further information, visit www.thefair.com or call the 24-hour hotline at 253/841-5045.
