The City of Tacoma will recognize Tacoma’s outstanding volunteers at the 24th annual City of Destiny Awards at 7 p.m. on May 11. Mayor Marilyn Strickland and the City Council will honor local volunteers for their exemplary service during a ceremony held at Stadium High School in the auditorium, 111 N.
