Action on Ordinances
Proposal No. 2003-19, amending Chapter 19D.60 of the Pierce County Code, “Storm Drainage and Surface Water Management Plan”; and adopting the “Gig Harbor Basin Plan” for the unincorporated area of Pierce County, as an area update to Pierce County’s Storm Drainage and Surface Water Management Plan.

Proposal No. 2003-20, amending Chapter 19D.60 of the Pierce County Code, “Storm Drainage and Surface Water Management Plan”; and adopting the “Clover Park Creek Basin Plan” for the unincorporated area of Pierce County, as an area update to Pierce County’s Storm Drainage and Surface Water Management Plan.

Proposal No. 2003-21, repealing Ordinance No. 86-129; and permanently closing Ton-A-Wan-Da Avenue from Tok-A-Lou Avenue to the west terminus, to all classes of vehicles. (Browns Point area)

Proposal No. 2003-22, amending Section 13.04.080 and 13.13.045 of the Pierce County Code, to make the service charge provisions of the Public Sanitary Sewer System chapter of the code consistent with Washington state law.

Proposal No. 2003-23, granting a nonexclusive franchise to the Elbe Water and Sewer District, for location of water lines on certain county-owned rights-of-way; and authorizing the County Executive to execute the franchise.
Proposal No. 2003-24, granting the Elbe Water and Sewer District a nonexclusive franchise to construct, operate, and maintain a sanitary sewer pipeline system over, in, along, and under certain public roads and highways in Pierce County.

Action on Resolutions
Proposal No. R2003-31, authorizing the chair of the Pierce County Council to execute Amendment No. 1 to the personal services agreement with the Pierce County Hearing Examiner and Deputy Hearing Examiners, by adding Michael R. Kenyon as a qualified Deputy Hearing Examiner.
