Action on Ordinances
Proposal No. 2004-22, approving the land lease/sublease agreement for real property at the Pierce County Steilacoom Ferry Landing with the Washington State Department of Corrections and Department of Social and Health Services; and authorizing the County Executive to execute said lease/sublease.

Proposal No. 2004-32, relating to contracting indebtedness; authorizing the issuance of limited tax general obligation bonds for general county purposes to provide funds with which to pay the cost of acquiring land for, and designing, constructing, improving and/or equipping county parks and recreation facilities; and authorizing the issuance of short-term financing pending the issuance of such bonds.

Proposal No. 2004-33, granting a nonexclusive franchise to Fruitland Mutual Water Company, for location of waterlines on certain county owned rights-of-way; and authorizing the County Executive to execute said franchise.

Proposal No. 2004-35, authorizing the approval of applications for timber land classification under current use assessment on certain properties located within the unincorporated boundaries of Pierce County; and adopting findings of fact. Proclamations, appointments
Proposal No. R2004-66, proclaiming the week of May 3-7, 2004, to be “Juror Appreciation Week” in Pierce County.

Proposal No. R2004-73, proclaiming the month of May 2004 to be “Mental Health Awareness Month” in Pierce County, Washington.

Proposal No. R2004-71, confirming the appointment of one new member to the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. (David Wilde)

Proposal No. 2004-8, granting a nonexclusive franchise to Sanford Avenue Community Club, for location of waterlines on certain county owned rights-of-way; and authorizing the County Executive to execute said franchise.

Proposal No. 2004-10, granting a nonexclusive franchise to Sylvia Lake Water Supply, Inc., for location of waterlines on certain county owned rights-of-way; and authorizing the County Executive to execute said franchise.

Proposal No. 2004-11, granting a nonexclusive franchise to Riviera Community Club for location of waterlines on certain county owned rights-of-way; and authorizing the County Executive to execute said franchise.
