Alece Cox, a Tacoma attorney, and Steve Offenbecher, owner of Offenbecher Commercial, Inc., have joined the board of the Pierce College Foundation, according to Foundation Director Cherry Tinker.
We are simply thrilled to have two individuals who bring such a wealth of knowledge to our board, she said.
Cox is a partner in the firm of Counsell, Murphy and Cox, P.S. She has been with the firm since 1990 and her primary practice is in family law and personal injury.
Before earning her law degree in 1983, Cox worked in community mental health.
She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association and the Washington Women Lawyers.
Offenbecher has more than 24 years of experience in commercial investment real estate and in 2000 founded his own company to specialize in investment real estate and property management as well as local real estate development. Offenbecher is a Certified Commercial Investment Member.
He is a member of several nonprofit boards, including the Puyallup Main Street Association and Friends and Servants.
