On Mon., May 9, the City of Tacoma will host an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. to solicit public input for the Pacific Avenue streetscape project that spans from South 7th Street to South 17th Street. The open house will be held at the University of Washington Tacoma in the William W. Philip Hall, 1918 Pacific Ave. The project will include a new streetscape design, intended to help attract new business to downtown Tacoma and incorporate innovative stormwater management practices.
