Tacoma City Council is scheduled to hear the final reading of an ordinance March 20 related to local option taxes to impose an additional sales tax of one-tenth of one percent to fund the provision of mental health services effective July 1. Tacoma City Council meets every Tuesday at 5 p.m. in City Council Chambers, on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market Street.
