Northwest Trek hires group sales coordinator

Northwest Trek Wildlife Park has a new group sales coordinator. Nancy Hawley-Keech joined the staff at the end of February to assist nonschool groups wishing to visit the park. Northwest Trek offers facility rentals or group tours for groups of 15 or more. Catering is available for groups of 20 to 350. The park can support business meetings for up to 90 indoors as well as reunions, weddings or casual events for 350 outdoors.

Hawley-Keech has a background in tourism, catering and group sales with several organizations including Lucky Eagle Casino, Ala’Board Tri-City Transport Tours, and the Olympia-Thurston County Visitor and Convention Bureau. She is a graduate of The Evergreen State College (1991) and South Puget Sound Community College (1988).

Northwest Trek, accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, is a 715-acre zoological park dedicated to conservation, education and recreation by displaying, interpreting and researching native Northwest wildlife and their natural habitats. The wildlife park is a facility of Metro Parks Tacoma and is located 35 miles southeast of Tacoma off State Highway 161, 6 miles north of Eatonville.
