New book explores Tacoma's paranormal history

Just in time for Halloween, a new book by two Pacific Northwest writers explores Tacoma’s paranormal history.

Tacoma’s Haunted History (Arcadia Publishing, $21.99) by Ross Allison and Teresa Nordheim features archival photographs and recounts strange, unexplainable stories of spiritualists, hexes, mysterious and untimely deaths, tragedies, and curses that comprise Tacoma’s shadowy history. Co-author Nordheim will sign copies of Tacoma’s Haunted History on Fri., Oct. 30, at 6 p.m., at Barnes & Noble, located at 5711 Main St. SW., in Lakewood.
