Individuals or groups concerned about water quality in Tacoma can apply for a City of Tacoma grant to help educate residents, prevent pollution, and protect and restore surface water resources. The deadline for Make a Splash applications is June 20. In its fourth year, the City’s Make a Splash grant program is open to projects within Tacoma city limits. Individual grants can be up to $2,500. The $50,000 grant program is supported by the City’s surface water utility rates.
