The Washington State Housing Finance Commission, in partnership with the Kitsap Housing Coalition and local Gig Harbor instructors trained by the commission, will hold a free Housing and Urban Development-approved five-hour first time homebuyer class. The class and all handouts are free.
The home buying process and non-government/conventional first mortgage and down payment assistant programs will be reviewed.

The class is set for Saturday, Jan. 31, at the Gig Harbor Library, at 4424 Fosdick Dr., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
