Fireworks code amendments scheduled for final reading

Members of the City Council are scheduled to hear the final reading of an ordinance that would amend the penalty for the manufacturing, possession, storage, sale, transportation or use of fireworks within city limits. The proposed amendments would establish a new infraction and fine structure for fireworks violations.
