Crisson named Business Leader of Year by UW Tacoma

Mark Crisson, director of utilities for the City of Tacoma, was named 2002 Business Leader of the Year at the University of Washington Tacoma’s second annual Business Leadership Awards Thursday night.

Also Thursday, judges awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award to Gary Milgard, president and CEO of Milgard Manufacturing, Inc., and a Rising Star award to Josi Callan, director and CEO of the Museum of Glass.

In addition to Crisson, Business Leadership Awards were given to: Don Anderson, president, Washington Architectural Hardware Inc.; David Graybill, president and CEO, Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce; Ross Hjelseth, headmaster, Life Christian Academy; Jeffrey Lyon, president and CEO, Insignia Kidder Mathews; David Morris, CEO, Dillanos Coffee; Tom Seigel, superintendent, Bethel School District; and Michael Wallingford, vice president and regional manager, Wells Fargo.
