The Citizens Advisory Board of the Pierce County Parks and Recreation Deparment invites park users and other interested citizens to participate in an open house aimed at helping shape future programs, services and facilities.

The public open house for strategic planning will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the Lakewood Community Center, 9112 Lakewood Drive S.W.

The nine-member board meets monthly to advise the Parks and Recreation Department concerning its general operations, capital projects and community needs and interests. The board chair is Dave Morell of South Hill.
