Click! Network names new general manager

Cyndi Wikstrom has been named the new general manager of Tacoma Power’s Click! Network, according to a statement released yesterday. She succeeds Dana Toulson, who is leaving Tacoma Power for a position with Snohomish County Public Utility District.

Wikstrom has been Click! Network’s marketing and business operations manager since 1997,  responsible for customer acquisition and retention, marketing, customer service, front and back office support of three commercial business lines, product development and business systems.

Prior to joining Click! Network, Wikstrom worked in both the telephone and cable television industries for 24 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration from City University.

“Cyndi has been with Click! from its beginning and is familiar with all aspects of Click! operations,” said Gary Armfield, Tacoma Power’s interim superintendent, who made the appointment. “She also has wide experience in the telecommunications industry and significant managerial expertise.”

She is a member of several telecommunications organizations, including the American Cable Association and National Cable TV Cooperative. She serves on the corporate board for the Boys and Girls Club of South Puget Sound, where she also is director of the organization’s marketing and communications team.

Click! Network is Tacoma Power’s telecommunications business line, created in 1997. Click! has built a hybrid fiber-optic and coaxial cable telecommunications network in Tacoma, University Place, Fircrest, Lakewood and Fife to enhance Tacoma Power’s electric system operations and to offer competitive choices for cable television, Internet access and business telecommunications services.
