Bid Opening: Sealed submittals in response to a RFB will be opened Tuesday’s at 11AM by a purchasing representative and read aloud during a public bid opening held at the Tacoma Public Utilities Administrative Building North, 3628 S. 35th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409, conference room M-1, located on the main floor. Submittals in response to an RFP, RFQ or RFI will be recorded as received. As soon as possible, after 1:00 PM, on the day of submittal deadline, preliminary results will be posted to www.TacomaPurchasing.org.

Pre-Proposal Meeting: A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m., PST, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 via TEAMS.

Project Scope: Cleanout and testing of two large (3,000-5,000 gallons per minute) municipal drinking water production wells during 2023-2024 – potentially extending through 2025 with additives. Also includes pulling and reinstalling the pump, motor, and column pipe. Management of potentially turbid water discharged during pump testing, traffic control, as well as, recoating of column pipe, are part of the work as well. At the discretion of the City, additives for supplemental units of work or group of bid items, identified separately in the Bid Proposal, may be awarded in addition to the base bid for work on another two wells during 2023-2025.
