Tacoma City Manager Eric Anderson announced yesterday that he has hired Robert Biles as director of the Finance Department. Biles was most recently the finance director for the City of Little Rock, Ark., and will assume his position with the City of Tacoma on Jan. 14, 2008.
Biles has a bachelor’s degree in science and business administration with an emphasis in accounting and is a certified public accountant in Kansas and Arkansas. His starting annual salary will be $144,060.
