City Council members are scheduled April 29 to hear an update of the City’s financial status through the end of March 2008. Budget Officer Amy Palmer will also provide an overview of some particular economic indicators and their projected growth rates for the next six years. The Council will also hear an update of projected revenues for 2009 through 2014 for the General Fund and the Capital Projects Fund. Under other items of interest, Public Works Department staff will provide a brief update on a purchase resolution on the City Council agenda later in the day that would award the contract for the Broadway Local Improvement District project.
The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
