The Boys & Girls Club of South Puget Sound announced this week it will host a ceremony Thurs., Sept. 2 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. to dedicate the new Donald G. Topping Regional HOPE Center. The 49,000 square foot facility will house the Henry T. Schatz Branch. Organizers say the multi-use facility aims to promote collaboration among non-profit agencies in order to share resources to better serve youth and families in the community. The ceremony, which will be held at 3875 South 66th St. in Tacoma, is free and open to the public. For more information, visit http://www.bgcsps.org/ or call (253) 502-4600.
