BIS launches redesigned Goodwill Web site

On Tuesday, Business Internet Services (www.bisc.com) announced the launch of the new Tacoma Goodwill Web site (www.tacomagoodwill.or ), the 289th Web site design by BIS.

The complete redesign and layout includes the locations of all 17 stores with maps and donation stations and a “What’s New at Tacoma Goodwill” section. In addition, a new service gives visitors the opportunity to donate online.

The new site uses the Business Internet Services “Content Manager,” which allows easy updates to the site by non-technical Tacoma Goodwill staff.

“You can now visit our site to read success stories, find out about store sales and donation opportunities, and explore our many vocational programs,” said Terry A. Hayes, Tacoma Goodwill CEO.

“Lack of content management results in significant pain across the organization”, stated BIS CEO Janine Terrano. “Using our tool, business managers are empowered to manage, saves the organization both time and money, and strengthens Web site relationships by providing visitors fresh, compelling content.”

Clients using this easy to learn tool to reduce labor costs and increase revenues include Bates Technical College, The Puyallup Fair, City of Bellevue, Tacoma Dodge, KUBE93FM, the Port of Tacoma, Barclay-Dean, Tacoma Convention & Visitors Bureau, Washington Fryer Commission, Cascade Christian School, NW One Nurses Assoc., and the Port of Kalama.
