“A Web site to provide easy, up-to-date information on Tacoma’s first annual E-business Day is being donated by Web-X. The site, www.ebusinessday.org, should be up and operational by Wednesday, July 26. A link to the site will be provided from the Tacoma Daily Index Web site’s Links at www.tacomadailyindex.com.Being involved helps continue the momentum we’ve created here in Tacoma, said Joey Caisse, president of Web-X. There are a lot of great things happening in our emerging technology community and being a part of it is exciting. The vision is here: we’ve got the City of Tacoma committed to make this happen, we have the community backing us, and we have the constant influx of businesses moving here to prove we are on the right path, Caisse said. It should be known, businesses who come to Tacoma will have an advantage to succeed in this type of environment. The first annual E-business Day is slated for Thursday, August 24, 2000.
