Link light rail service in downtown Tacoma will not operate this weekend while work crews perform track maintenance south of Union Station. During the two-day closure Saturday and Sunday, Sound Transit will operate free bus service along a route similar to that used by Tacoma Link, on a schedule that mirrors Tacoma Link service. The buses will be labeled “Tacoma Link” and will operate northbound to downtown Tacoma and southbound to the Tacoma Dome. Tacoma Link will resume regular service on Mon., Feb. 3. More information is available online at soundtransit.org.
