City Councilmembers are scheduled to consider a resolution April 28 to consider authorizing the submittal of an application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for a $3.5 million Community Development Block Grant Section 108 loan to assist with the development of Phase I of the Harold E. LeMay Museum. The loan proceeds will be leveraged with New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), a conventional loan from US Bank and equity to build Phase I of the Harold E. LeMay Museum on a site provided by the City of Tacoma near the Tacoma Dome.
