Members of the City Council are scheduled to consider a resolution on July 1 that would submit a proposition to the voters of the City of Tacoma at a special municipal election to be held Nov. 4, 2008, to repeal Article II, Section 2.35 of the City Charter, removing the 10 consecutive year term limit for the Mayor and Council Members.
