Members of the City Council are scheduled to consider a resolution May 13 that would adopt the 2008-2009 Annual Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development and would authorize submittal of the plan to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development by May 15, 2008. The consolidated plan is a five-year Housing and Community Development Strategic Plan, comprised of three sections: community needs; a five-year strategy, and; an Annual Action Plan, all of which combine the submission of applications for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), and the American Dream Downpayment Initiative (ADDI).
