The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Better Business Bureau, Washington State Office of Trade and Economic Development, and other local organizations are offering a free event, Financing Options for the Small Business Owner, on Thursday, September 12, 2002.
The event will take place at the Better Business Bureau, 1000 Station Drive Suite 222, DuPont, WA 98327, from 9 a.m. to noon.
“For many small business owners, figuring out what financing options are available for their business needs can be confusing,” said Bob Meredith, SBA Seattle District Director. “This event is designed to help them evaluate their small business financing needs and to help them gain access to the capital they need.”
Small business owners can listen to a panel of local experts talk about traditional and alternative sources of capital; ask onsite lenders questions to learn what lenders look for when approving loans and where to find the capital to finance purchases and build a company; and bring their business plans and loan proposals for one-on-one assistance from a financial expert.
