Public hearings scheduled for Nov. 13

Members of the Tacoma City Council will hold a public hearing Nov. 13 regarding the proposed Ad Valorem tax levies and other general fund revenues. City Council will also hold a public hearing regarding the proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Regulatory Code for 2007, and on a proposed land use classification including the reclassification of three parcels located at 4802 and 4806 Waterview St. and 4617 North 48th St. as open space. The Council will hear the recommendations and then ask for public comment regarding these issues beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m.
