Tacoma Goodwill, GTCF partner to expand donor options

Tacoma Goodwill has announced a new partnership with the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation to offer expanded giving options to donors. The partnership allows donors to support Tacoma Goodwill through a Charitable Gift Annuity (CGA) program, a gift planning vehicle that allows the donor to receive a set guaranteed income for life and an immediate income tax deduction, while at the same time leaving a legacy gift for Tacoma Goodwill.

“We are pleased to partner with Tacoma Goodwill on this initiative. Charitable Gift Annuities are a popular and affordable planned giving option,” said Rose Lincoln Hamilton, President and CEO of The Greater Tacoma Community Foundation. “This partnership allows us to reduce the burden for Tacoma Goodwill to offer gift annuities and, ultimately, to support our nonprofit partner in building a strong, long-term financial future.”

“We are thrilled to offer this win-win giving option to our community of supporters and friends,” said Terry Hayes, President and CEO of Tacoma Goodwill. “It’s with planned giving such as this that we can continue to provide job training and placement services to those that need it the most far into the future.”
