Action on ordinances
Proposal No. 2004-62, authorizing the dissolution of Drainage District No. 11, pursuant to Revised Code of Washington 85.38.225, located in a portion of the City of Sumner and unincorporated Pierce County.

Propsal No. 2004-64, repealing Ordinance No. 90-14, “Curbside Recycling Minimum Levels of Service”; enacting a new Chapter 8.29 of the Pierce County Code, “Minimum Levels of Service for Residential Recycling and Yardwaste Collection”; notifying the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to carry out and implement the minimum service levels; recommending a public information program; requesting that the Pierce County Executive coordinate with cities and towns in implementing similar minimum levels of service; adopting findings of fact; and setting an effective date.

Messages from the Executive
A message from the Excutive transmitting the following Ordinance, which was approved and signed on July 6, 2004:

Ordinance No. 2004-49, amending Section 14.20.040 of the Pierce County Code, “Facilties Use Fees,” by amending park facilities fess schedules affecting the North Lake Tapps Park; and establishing an effective date for the new fees.

A message from the executive transmitting the following Ordinances, which were approved and signed on July 13, 2004:

Ordinance No. 2004-34s, adopting amendments to the development regulations to address motorcycle and motor bike tracks when accessory to residential uses, noise attenuating barriers and horse boarding in urban residential zones; amending Pierce County Code Chapters 18A.15, “Definitions,” 18A.25, “Zone Classifications and Use Tables,” and 18A.35, “Development Standards”’ adopting a new Section 18J.15.050 of the Pierce County Code, “Noise Attenuating Barriers Standards”; setting an effective date; and adopting findings of fact.

Ordinance No. 2004-50, amending Exhibit “B” of Ordinance No. 98-117 as amended by Ordinance No. 2002-16s, by designating Mahncke Road KPS as a collector arterial and directing the County Engineer to properly implement the arterial designation through use of appropriate traffic control devices.

Ordinance No. 2004-51, repealing Resolution No. R2003-86; and adopting a new organization chart establishing classification titles and corresponding pay ranges for the office of the Pierce County Council.
