The U.S. Commercial Service brings its STOPfakes.gov Roadshow to Seattle this month with tips to help you protect your intellectual property in global markets. Speakers from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and others will deliver critically important information about protecting intellectual property to the audience that needs it most – start-ups, entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, independent creators and inventors.

How to identify and protect the various intellectual property (IP) assets you have

The mechanisms for obtaining IP protection in overseas markets and strategies for determining where you should seek protection

How to record your mark with customs, with on-site help, in order to exclude counterfeit goods from entering the United States
