After nearly two years of planning and months of intensive preparation, the World Trade Center Tacoma will be internationally certified by the World Trade Center Association on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the 33rd World Trade Center Association, Annual General Assembly.

World Trade Center Association President Guy Tozzoli will present this esteemed award to Andreas Udbye, Executive Director, World Trade Center Tacoma at a gala dinner to honor their achievement.

The certification process is a standard of excellence of World Trade Centers and has only been achieved by 20 percent of the approximately 300 World Trade Centers around the world.
