Washington State University Pierce County at Salishan Learning Center is sponsoring a workshop entitled “How to Challenge Yourself With Career and Business Opportunities.”

This workshop, targeted at women, will be held Sept. 28, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Tacoma Housing Authority Family Investment Center at 1728 E. 44th St. Registration is $10.

WSU has organized this event to educate women about business ethics and planning.

Workshop participants will have the opportunity to learn about debt reduction, developing and opening a business and how to stay positive in the workplace.

Area women in business will present the information.

Refreshments will be provided.
