    Washington ready for terrorist attack

    Gov. Gary Locke said Wednesday that Washington state is prepared in the event of a terrorist attack, despite the fact the federal government has failed to deliver promised funding for anti-terrorism programs.

    Locke made the comments at a news conference at Camp Murray on homeland security efforts.
