Approximately 100 representatives of Washington State’s nonprofit organizations will meet at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center on Fri., Nov. 4 for the 2011 Nonprofit Governance Symposium. Washington Nonprofits — the state nonprofit association whose mission is building a strong, collaborative network of nonprofits serving Washington communities through advocacy, education and capacity building — has invited Dr. Cathy Trower, Research Director of the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, to give the keynote address.
