The next session of the Government Leadership Institute held at 5:30 p.m. on March 5 will consider urban government operation, specifically how priorities are set and decisions are made. The discussion by a panel including Mayor Marilyn Strickland and City Manager T.C. Broadnax will focus on the decision-making process in Tacoma and the plans in place that will help shape the City’s future. The free session will be held at the Keystone Building in the Carwein Auditorium, 1900 Commerce St., on the University of Washington Tacoma campus. The Government Leadership Institute is a cooperative effort between the City of Tacoma’s Neighborhood Council Office and the University of Washington Tacoma’s Urban Studies Program.
