Three business people will be recognized for their achievements at the Milgard School of Business’s Tenth Annual Business Leadership Awards next month. The awards spotlight business leaders from South Sound counties and aim to strengthen the relationship between the business community and UW Tacoma. The honorees were nominated by the community and selected by a panel from the Milgard School of Business advisory board, faculty and staff.
This year’s award recipients include:
Small Business Leader of the Year — Brian Haynes, President & CEO, Rainier Connect;
Non-Profit Leader of the Year — Diane Cecchettini, RN, President and CEO, MultiCare Health System;
Business Leader of the Year — Greg Biersack, Vice President, Corporate Operations, Burkhart Dental Supply
This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Stanley H. Barer, co-founder and chairman emeritus of Saltchuk Resources, Inc., and member of the University of Washington Board of Regents.
