GIS technology is used in areas such as environmental protection, pollution, health care, land use, natural resources, conservation, education, industry efficiency, and social inequities.Representatives of the City of Puyallup, Puyallup School District, Nies Mapping of Bellevue, and LeRoy Surveyors and Engineers of Puyallup will also be on hand to show how mapping and GIS are commonly used.Transportation MeetingThe Washington Blue Ribbon Commission on Transportation will host an Administration Committee meeting Friday, November 19, from 9 a.m. to noon at the SeaTac Holiday Inn, in SeaTac.The committee will review its plans for the next six months.For additional information e-mail blueribbon@seattle.econw.com.”
