Dr. Martin Regalia, chief economist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will decipher national economic indicators for the coming year at Horizons 2002, the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerces 14th Annual Economic Forecast Event, on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
Regalia is a successful author on a variety of economic topics, and appears on national television news and debate programs.
Balanced against the national perspective will be the analysis of local conditions in the 14th edition of the Pierce County Economic Index, presented by University of Puget Sound economics professors Douglass Goodman and Bruce Mann.
Horizons 2002 will take place at the Sheraton Tacoma Convention Center, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., with various workshops offered from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Cost is $40 per person; $400 for a corporate table of 10.
