Members of the Tacoma City Council are scheduled Dec. 7 to receive an update from the Pierce County Coordinating Council, which represents the five local and community colleges, on their legislative agenda and collaborative economic development efforts, as well as their current issues and opportunities. Other agenda items scheduled for study session include a discussion regarding the container port element in the Comprehensive Plan and an update on the process and future actions for the Shoreline Master Program. The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session held in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, 733 Market St., Room 16.
