TV Tacoma will replay its coverage of the Tall Ships Tacoma 2005 Parade of Sail that took place on June 30 in one encore presentation July 13 at 8 p.m.
The encore presentation, on cable channel 12 in the Tacomas city limits and on cable channel 21 in other areas of Pierce County on the Click! Network and Comcast cable systems, will include some footage not previously broadcast as part of the original program. TV Tacoma has also produced a 60-second Thank you spot showcasing the Tall Ships Tacoma volunteers and a heartfelt thank you and compliments from the captain of the R. Tucker Thompson to the people of Tacoma.
The rebroadcast will also feature a tall ships poster giveaway that will award 10 winners with posters. The first poster contest during the Tall Ships Tacoma festival drew more than 350 callers from across the state.
