Tickets are now on sale for an evening of elegance at the Second Annual Tacoma Wine Classic to be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 18, in the Tacoma Community College Library. Hosted by the Tacoma Community College Foundation, the black-tie optional event is a fundraiser to benefit the TCC Librarys collections and equipment.
Tickets are $75 each, $150 per couple or $600 for a table of eight. Guests will be greeted with champagne as they peruse the silent auction table. This will be followed with specially selected food and wine pairings, and the event will conclude with a live auction and dessert. In keeping with the Art of Wine event theme, the auction will feature a wine tasting tour, numerous fine wines and art pieces.
Tickets can be purchased over the phone by calling 253/566-5262. Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Tickets are going fast; a limited number are still available and can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Last year, the first Tacoma Wine Classic raised $24,481 for the TCC Library through silent and live auctions.
