Three John L. Scott real estate agents honored by REALTOR Magazine

Three agents from John L. Scott Real Estate – including one from Puyallup – have been selected by REALTOR Magazine as three of the top-performing sales associates in the nation.

In the magazine’s highly-publicized annual list, it recognizes real estate professionals from across the nation, ranking the top performers by closed transactions and sales volume.

This year the magazine broke the list into two groups; one for sales teams and one for agents who work solo.

Jerry Mahan from John L. Scott-Puyallup in Puyallup was selected for the “Top 100 Sales Teams” list, ranking twelfth overall in the nation. This is the third year in a row that Mahan has been selected for REALTOR Magazine’s “Top 100” list. Mahan is John L. Scott Real Estate’s top performing agent, a position he has held for the past eight years.

In 2002, he reported 579 closed transactions for 119.4 million dollars in sales volume. Mahan specializes in new construc-tion, land and residential re-sale.

He has been a real estate agent for over 20 years, ten of which he has been affiliated with John L. Scott Real Estate.

The other two winners were Mike Pennington, from the John L. Scott-Boise Discovery office in Boise, Idaho, who was ranked eleventh on the “Top 50 Solo Performers” list, reporting 323 closed transactions for 25.48 million dollars in sales volume in 2002; and Dean Street, from John L. Scott’s main office in Bellevue, was also selected for the “Solo Performers” list, ranking twelfth. In 2002, Street reported 274 closed transactions for 59.66 million dollars in sales volume.
