    Kaiser Aluminum
    Building #65 at the former Kaiser Aluminum Smelter site was recently demolished as part of a project at the Port of Tacoma aimed to redevelop the 96-acre site. Port officials said this week that they were able to recycle more than 150 million pounds of steel, copper, aluminum, lead, concrete, alumina ore, oil and carbon anodes.
