The Tacoma Arts Commission will host a community celebration of the arts on Thurs., Nov. 3, to kick off Art at Work Month and honor the 2011 AMOCAT Arts Award winners and funding recipients. The event will be held at the Museum of Glass, 1801 Dock Street, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Awards and recognition ceremonies will begin at 7:15 p.m. Live entertainment will include contemporary dance by BQdanza, fire dancing by Flair Entertainment, songs by TWO OLD, TWO NEW barbershop quartet, and molten Iron and Ice pour by Tacoma Community College.
