Tacoma School District No. 10 Architectural Consultant Services Birney Elementary School & Grant Elementary School RFQ Submittal Date: June 3, 2016 The Tacoma School District requests that licensed State of Washington architecture firms interested in providing planning, architectural and engineering design services for the Birney Elementary & Grant Elementary replacement schools submit qualifications to Rob Sawatzky, Director of Planning and Construction, Tacoma School District No. 10, 3223 South Union Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98409. Interested parties may download submittal documents from the District's web site at: http://www.tacoma.k12.wa.us/information/departments/planningconstruction/Pages/ Professional-Services.aspx A pre-submittal walk-through will be held on May 18. The walk-through will start at 1:00 p.m. at Birney Elementary School, 1202 South 76th Street, Tacoma, WA 98408 and following at 2:30pm at Grant Elementary School, 1018 North Prospect Street, Tacoma, WA 98406. Submittals will be accepted until Friday, June 3, 2016 at 4:00 p.m., and must conform to the format provided in the RFQ. The school district will select an architectural firm as prime consultant to pre-design, design, and construction administration services, and to manage all sub-consultants for each school. The school district will only review qualifications of subconsultants that are a part of a comprehensive qualification statement of a qualified applicant architecture firm.
