Tacoma resident may join Pierce County's landmarks commission

The Pierce County Council is expected to consider the appointment of a Tacoma historian and preservationist to the county’s landmarks and historic preservation commission.

A resolution to appoint Wright Park neighborhood resident Brett Santhuff is slated to be considered Aug. 12 by councilmembers.

Santhuff is currently vice president of Historic Tacoma’s board of directors. According to Historic Tacoma’s Web site, he is an architectural intern with Belay Architecture in Tacoma, and serves on the Wright Park Steering Committee and New Tacoma Neighborhood Council.
